automatic message grouping

Hello, I'm using Thunderbird and I'm having trouble with the automatic message grouping.

Even though I have threading and message grouping turned off, Thunderbird still automatically groups emails with the same (or similar) subject into collapsed blocks.

I want each message to be displayed individually, in strict chronological order by date, without any visual grouping.

I've tried switching to Classic View, disabling threads, and unchecking all grouping options, but the behavior persists.

Is there a way to permanently disable this automatic subject-based grouping?
