I use thunderbird for my Gmail. I have a large number of subfolders. After latest windows 10 update they all became empty.
My email provider is Gmail. After the most recent windows 10 update they all became empty. I have restarted Thunderbird around three times as well as attempting to change the folder in account settings but they remain empty.

I suggest you log on to the online account and confirm that messages are there. If this is an IMAP account, the message folders should repopulate. also, you can rightclick on a folder, click properties and then click repair. If the problem was a corrupted index, that will fix it.
