Hello, this error message appears regularly. The accounts are managed in maildir format.

"The file mailbox:///C:/Data/Email2024/Mail/Post/Inbox?number=28959 could not be found. Please check the address and try again.

Please check the address for spelling, capitalization, or other errors.

Please check if the address has been renamed, deleted, or moved."

What is the problem?

You have chosen to use a beta storage facility (maildir), I suggest you file a bug about your issue vas maildir is not recommend for production use. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/maildir-thunderbird bugzilla.mozilla.org

Hi Matt, thanks for the feedback. I had, of course, read about it before switching. My PC could barely handle the huge mbox files anymore. That's why I switched, partly because it's recommended.
