How to hide a bookmark folder from bookmark toolbar?

I have a lot of bookmarked websites on my bookmark toolbar but recently a bookmark folder has appeared on the bar, limiting my space even more. I don't seem to be able to hide it by right clicking, dragging or from the customize menu. I just want to hide it from the toolbar, not delete it.
