How and where to create a tile/icon on my www.site which is larger than the normal favicon for firefox tabs?
Below, see 2 tiles of my firefox page with tabs. To the right, is the icon/tile like I would like to have my icon/tile, too. On the left, ist a icon/tile which looks not nice and is just a screenshot with a favicon put on it.
HOW (and I searched the internet all day long for a solution) do I do it? What do I have to put in my website to get such a nice version of a big-tile-icon? I have dozens of icons in my root already, for apple and such, that does not seem to help.

Chosen solution
I created a giant new icon for https://www.userchrome.org/ and it was picked up in a test profile. Not so for my main profile. I don't want to flush all my history to see whether that fixes it; I'll just live with the thumbnail + favicon.

However, I haven't tested it myself.
Thanks for the stack-overflow and consecutive github-links. I checked the theories concerning - large favicon (size 96x96px or larger) which seems the easiest and most feasible solution.
I do have a variety of large icons (linked to my root), but still no large tile/icon visible on the firefox tabs. All tested. And cleared cache, tested again. To no avail. I'm frustrated.

Your quick made icon does not look so bad, either. Is this the whole code?

Yes, those are the two tags, the older one and the newer one.
@jscher2000. I tried. I succeeded. 256x256px blastet everything else away. Nice.
