Was it the Bookmarks Toolbar?

To turn different bars on and off, you can use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bars there:

To turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list.

Does that work?

Oh, hold on, what version of Firefox is it? The above would be for a desktop version of Firefox. Is the problem with the Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iOS version of Firefox?

Hi Tim, Firefox 29 and newer do not include the ability to create your own toolbars. You either were using one of Firefox's built-in toolbars for your email icons, or you were using an add-on that created that toolbar.

When you check the toolbar list, what bars do you see there? Normally the list has these:

Menu Bar (no checkmark unless you turned it on) Bookmarks Toolbar (no checkmark unless you turned it on)

Do either of those have what you are looking for?

If not, are there other bars you can turn on?

Please, please be specific when you reply. "I tried everything" does not help me understand what is going on with your Firefox.

I'm not sure what you mean by this:

I lost the Internet address bar?

It should be difficult to lose the address bar in Firefox, the main toolbar is difficult to hide.

If all of the toolbars are hidden: Firefox may be in full screen view. Try the F11 key on the keyboard to switch between regular and full screen views.

You can restore the standard toolbar setup by using the Customize feature.

Can you access the menu button shown in the attached screenshot? If so, click that, then at the bottom of the menu, click Customize.

If you cannot access that menu button, try tapping either the Alt key or the F10 key on the keyboard to activate the classic menu bar. Then click View > Toolbars > Customize.

At the bottom of the Customize panel is a Restore Defaults button to set your toolbars back to their normal layout. After that, you can close the Customize tab.
