I like to set my Home Page to Weather Underground at http://classic.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=98101 . Note the presence of a capital F in "getForecast". I can set this URL to be my home page, and as long as I stay in that session of Firefox, I can hit the Home button and it will work just fine. But if I close the session, or if I close all the tabs in that session, the Home Page URL under Options gets translated to all lowercase characters. So the next time I open a new session or a new tab, the Home Page URL doesn't work. Checking Options shows the URL to have been changed to http://classic.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getforecast?query=98101 . I can change ANY characters in the Home Page URL, and whatever is uppercase gets converted to lowercase whenever all the tabs are closed. To put it another way, this upper- to lower-case translation occurs whenever the LAST TAB is closed, however that is accomplished. I would appreciate any ideas to fix this, but to me it looks like a software bug.

I understand that this is reproducible when it is just in the homepage. I however cannot reproduce this in Windows or Mac.

Please try to reset the homepage and restart Firefox. Else I would try a new profile.
