Dear Sirs, I am an artist with my own website (www.picchio-art.com). I cannot open my website on mozilla firefox, while in all other searching engines it works. I just get the first page (main page) but if I click anywhere it does not work. Can you please help me with this issue? Is it depending on MAC?

There is JavaScript tied to those images.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

I just thought I would add that I am able to see your Website using the link in your Original Post with Firefox.

The advice above from cor-el is intended to help you with clearing up a problem on your own machine. Perhaps you could check with friends colleagues and customers, ask them if they can see your website ok using Firefox ?

(I am commenting after seeing your duplicate and closed /questions/1010203 How can I inform all visitors of my website about the procedure they have to follow in order to open my website on mozilla? )

Some helpful terms

Firefox is a browser not a Search Engine.

So, we have 4 Apple machines and 4 Windows machines here in our office. Everywhere is the latest Firefox installed. On Windows machines it works all fine – but on all Apple it doesn’t!!!! All are new apple iMacs and Mac Pro and a Macbook pro. All run the latest updates of OS X 10.9.3.

It must be your software for Apple, which doesn’t work.

Have you tried the suggestions in cor-el's post above

  • to clear cookies and cache did that work ?
  • Using Firefox's SafeMode

If you do now think the problem is specific to Mac s maybe try a Mac forum and ask if users there can reproduce the issue or whether it works for some of them.

If you post such a question and get confirmation no Mac user can use your site (And again what about asking customers colleagues and friends ?) then please provide a link to those answers.
