Hello, since few times it is impossible for me to connect to my mail serveur (sfr.fr) using thunderbird. I get an error message and it don't work even iI feel the good password (this one in functionning with SFRmail app.). I am using thuderbird for a long time and I should appréciate to use it anymore. Does anyone no why I would keep getting these types of messages. Also the only glitch I've experienced is occasionally in writing an email it fails to save to draft. Thanks.

After returning from a 6 day vacation, my wife attempted to download email from her Yahoo email account. There are nearly 200 messages that have piled up but they aren't moving. I've uninstalled and re-installed TB. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app password in Yahoo. There is no problem with accessing the email via any web browser. I spent 49 minutes on a tech support call with Yahoo and they have said the problem is with TB because they repeated the same steps I have. I checked firewall settings and the only antivirus program on the computer is Malware Bytes and it's not running in the background. The version of TB is the most recent as of yesterday. I don't see any sketchy looking emails in the web version of Yahoo Mail when it's opened. It's set up as a POP3 account and has been since Cox Internet gave their email over to Yahoo. I'd appreciate any assistance in resolving this because it's currently above my pay grade and tech support at Yahoo.

I have four AOL-based eMail accounts I follow on TB; let's call them A, B, C and D. The folder contents on A & C are correct. However, for some odd reason, TB is placing the contents of A's eMail folders in B and in D! I have deleted the accounts twice, closed TB, re-started, and re-added B and D accounts, but the contents still are of A's eMails?!? Please help!

I am trying to add a posteo email account to my thunderbird app on my phone and on my laptop. Each time when I get to inputting my user name and password I get an authentication error.

I'm moving from one PC (Windows 10) to another (Windows 11) and copied the Thunderbird folder over to the new PC yesterday. All seemed to be working fine on the new PC.

However, I've noticed that new emails sent to my gmail account FROM a gmail address are not being downloaded (I can see them in Gmail on the web). Emails sent from other addresses are downloading fine.

I have checked on the 'old' PC (which has identical configuration and is running the same version of Thunderbird) and they ARE downloading.

They aren't in the SPAM folder, I use POP3 and both PCs are configured to leave emails on the server, to it isn't that they are being deleted after downloading onto the old PC.

It's maddening, as about half my emails aren't available in Thunderbird, which makes it useless and I HATE native Gmail!

Hi, We have suddenly stopped receiving emails from our booking provider, 'Inn Style' since the 13th August. All other emails appear to be being received. I have contacted our booking provider and it shows at their end that they are being delivered to us so have suggested it is a problem from the email provider. It is a big problem for us not receiving emails from our booking provider. Thank you for your help, Lucy

Hello. I have been unable to send email from one of several POP accounts on Thunderbird (v 115.18.0). I believe this occurred after Network Solutions changed the SMTP server for that email account. I am able to send email from my Gmail IMAP account setup on the same Thunderbird program on my PC. I have tried all the port and authentication settings for SLS/TLS and STARTTLS, changed/updated passwords, etc. I do not get any error messages, just never receive the test email I send to my other accounts. I updated the SMTP server on my iPhone mail app to the new NetSol SMTP and it works on that platform. I just cannot get it to work on Thunderbird on my PC. NetSol support said to delete account and start over which is not possible as it is my business email account. Also, the inbox is too large to back-up to an external drive. Any suggestions? My recollection is that prior to a recent automatic update to Thunderbird 140.12.1esr (64-bit) when I had a message composition window open, there were "SEND" button and possibly a "SEND LATER" button (to the left of the addressee and cc addresses in addition to the keyboard shortcuts (CTRL ENTER and CTRL SHIFT ENTER).

Following the update, there is no longer anything to the left of the addressee information. I have checked the toolbar menus, and there do not appear to be any button options. I can still send messages, but the lack of the buttons is a hindrance.

How do I fix this Sending of message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. Th mail server responded Policy -MFRM53 Relay Denied-unauthoruzed. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again What should I do

I upgraded my 2012 macbook pro to the latest version of thunderbird and I can not get my emails. I am running os10.15.8 Every time I try to get messages a yahoo page opens up and wants me to sign into my yahoo account. I can't get rid of the yahoo page it just keeps reopening again and again. Everything was working fine until I upgraded thunderbird to 153.0.3esr. My other mac that has not been upgraded can still get my emails.

Is it possible to go back to the prior versions of thunderbird or make this new version work with my mac?

I have had sky email for too many years to count. I have always used Mozilla Thunderbird for my emails on my laptop so that I can do essential housekeeping to manage my emails in to logical folders.

I won't bore you with the details but this week I have had an issue that resulted in deleting the 16 digit code. When I go through to the link

I have received this error message for the last week. I am going round in circles.

Can anyone help me to access my emails on Thunderbird?

Thunderbird version: 153.0.3 (64-bit), Meadow, release channel, fully up to date.

I can successfully insert my local PNG into a composed HTML email, tick “Attach this image to the message,” and add a hyperlink to the image. The hyperlink works when the email is sent.

The problem occurs when trying to use this permanently as the account signature. HTML signatures I've tried either lose the image, show a broken-image icon, or fail to preserve the clickable image when used automatically.

I have also tested an HTML signature using a local file:///C:/... image reference, which produces a broken-image icon in Thunderbird.

I do not want to host the image remotely. I want the PNG embedded in the HTML/signature and sent with each email.

Can you confirm the correct method specifically for Thunderbird 153.0.3 on Windows, and whether there is a current issue with embedded/Base64 images or clickable image signatures in this version?

One of the e-mails account receive mails verry slow for a few days. The other 2 works perfect. I have tryde all the sollutions I could find on internet, but I have still the problem

Is it possible to send emails without a subject, other than getting the warning dialogue box.

Thunderbird downloads new emails for all my emails except one. Has not downloaded on that one since July 3. Have reset various background settings to match other email accounts. Running on Windows 10. Suggestions?

Using the same settings as my main account: imap.gmail.com SSL/TLS 0Auth2 Tried copying in same local directory as one that is working. No idea what all these do...
