I don't know why, but my previous post was removed - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1531371 - do you only accept praise here?
to summarise, upon installing the latest release in my new mac, instead of opening the link in a new tab when i right-click on it and press the T key, as was the case on my old mac, it now goes to 'translate this link to x' in the right click menu.
all the boxes in the 'translation settings' are left empty, so why do I still get this useless suggestion? how can I remove it from the menu?
and why is this supposedly 'privacy-focused browser' tracking my IP, which is the only way it could guess the language it suggests I translate my links to?
why are these stupid features not made optional?

bold text None of the topics seem to fit. I've tried to search in support for an answer to my question, but with no luck. I know how to tell the filter where to put the selected messages, but I don't know why I can't figure out how to allow the same filter to work for both profiles in the same installation on the same computer. It seems like an obvious option to either allow it to work across profiles or to allow me to copy the filter specifications to another profile. Also 'Run Now' doesn't seem to work.

How do I view the message headers on the emails I receive? I tried right-clicking in/on/near the sender's address area but there's no option that pops ups like in other email programs. I've searched "email headers" and nothing comes back. Am I missing the instructions somewhere?

I contacted centurylink and they told me its on mozillas end and unfortunately mozilla doesnt have a customer service number. I've tried deleting and redownloading Thunderbird, deleting the account and readding it and it still wont let me access it.

I am having severe problems downloading and syncing my emails with TB 142.0. I opened TB this morning, for example, and it took more than 20 minutes for it to download my emails. When I go to the next email, it takes a couple of minutes to load it. I have had some issues with slow syncing before, but this is very bad. I note that the emails work fine on my phone. Also, this happens on my main Gmail hosted account, but also on my other Siteground hosted accounts. TB seems to be lost in some kind of loop when syncing.

Followed this article

However there are profiles in both %appdata% and %localdata%
Just copying over the Thunderbird folder from Osx to windows as per
".../AppData/Roaming on Windows, replacing whatever Thunderbird folder that may already exist"
Does not seem to work.

Even though all my email accounts in Thunderbird for Android are IMAP, when I send or forward messages from my phone they leave no trace: they aren't in any folders on my phone, nor do they show up on my computer. This may make me go back (horror of horrors) to Gmail on my phone.

Hello,
I am using a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) 2.3 GHz Intel Core i9 8-core processor 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 memory
When I launch Thunderbird, the fans start up. As soon as I stop Thunderbird, the fans stop. When I close Thunderbird, I receive an error message (see attached).
Could you help me?

Hello, For some time now, links in Gmail e-mails are not working properly on Firefox (MacOS). If I click on the same link on the e-mail within the Mail app of MacOS, or using Gmail in Safari, it works fine. Even in the Mail app case, the links open in Firefox, so the problem is in Gmail within Firefox. I've had problems with links in e-mails coming from Amazon (I bought an e-gift card who's link did not work) and also in e-mails from Clarivate (Web of Science Alerts, links to the e-mailed records, image attached). Any suggestion on how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hello community, I'm an embedded systems developer and we have a ressource constraint IOT device which is using TLS1.2. When we use https:// to access the internal website of the device, Firefox does a complete TLS handshake for each asset to download which renders https:// almost unusable. This happens despite session resumption using session IDs is offered by the device. When accessing the device with Chrome or Edge there's only one handshake and all the following TLS sessions are resumed with the ID of the first handshake. In Firefox security.ssl.disable_session_identifiers is set to false.
Is it intended behaviour that Firefox ignores session IDs for TLS1.2?
Used Firefox version: 142.0 (64-Bit) Windows 11
Thanks in advance.
