Firefox is my main browser but it seems like something is blocking full function on a website I need to work with. I can do it using Edge. I want to keep my browser Firefox so how do I clear that up?

I'm only looking to use the VPN add-on for a particular movie streaming website where even the website itself advises that you use a VPN connection for security and safety.

I would have the VPN add-on disabled for everything else so I don't need a VPN add-on with lots of bells and whistles, I just want a free VPN add-on that will keep me relatively protected when I use the particular streaming movie website.

Can anybody provide any recommendations or opinions?

I'd rather not sign up to a free trial for a VPN service because obviously the free trial has a cut off date before you actually have to purchase the VPN service and as specified I'm not interested in buying a VPN service.

Fri. 10/20/23 @10:48 pm CDT -- Good evening. As an experienced I.T. Consultant, I cannot find a spot in the Account Profile section or its related pages to UPDATE my phone number. If your system is doing 2FA, it had to be entered at some point. Since I had that old number for almost 10 years, I don't remember what features Firefox had back then. I'd appreciate it if someone would provide an answer. Previous answers I've read today didn't provide one.

Can't stream Amazon after update. What's the issue? Watching videos, LiveTV on MEdge works fine. Refreshed FF and didn't work. Followed instructions on managing DRM controlled content and still not working. FF is broken. Please fix or please help. Thank you.

I'm starting to take bookmarks seriously and put them all into folders to make things easier, but i'd like to have longer names for my folders that don't get cut off and put into an elipsis. Can this be done?

I am prevented from downloading an important document because the site says that I need to disable an ad blocker. I am not aware of having an ad blocker and nothing shows up in add-ons and extensions. How do I find and disable an ad blocker that I cannot find?

C'est quand j'ai voulu lui dire que j'habitais aux États-Unis pour changer la langue et le type de résultats (correspondant à ce dont j'ai besoin, mes études et recherches) que je me suis retrouvé coincé ; il ne m'affichait que mon adresse, toujours des résultats en français et aucun résultat pertinent malgré ma langue anglaise. Que faire ?

why is literally every setting on this horse [redacted] browser over the top complicated? trying to watch a show but I can't because I dont know how to disable ad block for one site, what was wrong with the pause button? why do I need a super secure password just to come on here and get help? why cant I use mozillasucks as a password? are y'all trying to make chrome look user friendly? why have my saved log ins moved to pop up tab where I have to copy and paste them? what was wrong with the drop down menu when you click the box to type your sign in info? as someone who genuinely doesn't care for or understand the IT side of things you make using this browser a nightmare.

Due to a recent update, Firefox has changed its search results in the URL search bar.

I used to be able to turn off ALL search suggestions other than bookmarks. However, now it shows expanded results based on my bookmarks that are actually NOT bookmarked pages.

NOTE: This appears as separate behavior from Firefox Suggest. However it is linked to the settings for Firefox Suggest. The heading "Firefox Suggest" in the URL bar provides the correct link.

For example, I have a single page bookmarked from wrapbook, but instead of suggesting that bookmark it suggests the root domain/homepage.

I have no interest or purpose in visiting that homepage, but hitting enter it will autofill to that page. This is super annoying as it's not in my history or bookmarks.

Turning off bookmarks completely in Firefox Suggest settings fixes this behavior, BUT it means I have no access to my bookmarks from the URL search bar. This makes it a 3 step process to open bookmarks then, and is a poor UX design.

I'm using the current version 118.0.2 (64-bit). Windows 10 Pro x64

Previously I turned off all search suggestions and it worked correctly. Just FYI, I also whitelist all websites and use restricted/strict cookie settings. The only cookies that are retained between sessions are those that I manually add to the "exceptions" section of settings. All other history and cookies are cleared.

I've noticed with the latest update of Mozilla,I can't keep the history tab open for more than just a few moments,if I do,Firefox slows down alot,and I have to close history to get it back to normal. This has never happened before with any Firefox update. Is this something that will be fixed in the next update,or is it something else?

My desktop is interrupted by Foxfire pop ups from an on line employment service. I want to uninstall their messages/ads, but can't even find the Foxfire menu page. I am not computer literate and am unable to follow instructions that don't seem to work! Please do not write in tech talk!

All of a sudden my visitor counters stopped working in Firefox . I have only ever used Firefox . I checked EDGE browser visitor counter visible . I checked CROME browser visitor counter visible . Cleaned and cleared my Firefox browser . No help . What is going on ?

Good day. I just noticed that saving a bookmark to an Amazon page shows the full address in the title of the bookmark now, instead of the description of the page. I checked and this does not happen on other sites, like YouTube, where the video title is still given correctly. This make it very hard to find the bookmarked Amazon items. Thank you for your help. Love Firefox! PS: I'm a Firefox "Power User" when it comes to Bookmarks. I have over 8000 bookmarks and regularly back them up. New to me Surface3 pro tablet. Have FF on my desktop, want it on the tablet and synced with the desktop. Download and install were fine up until i went to log in on the tablet. I mis spelled the email address and did not notice until the codes never arrived. I cant find a way to get FF to "forget" what i entered. I uninstalled hoping that would do it and deleted the FF old data file it saved on the screen, but no matter what i do it keeps coming back to the old misspelled entry and does not let me log out or change it. So because of the name change, I am prompted to ask "do I even have an account?" The fact that I am able to even ask you this question must mean that I do. I have been using Firefox and Thunderbird for years and never new that it / they needed or came with an account. So I apparently have an account. Now what? What can or should I do with it?
