When I want to Bookmark a page, how can I tell FF which folder in Bookmarks to place it?
I just updated to V29 and my favorite features are missing. The first is the drop down that allowed me to specify the folder in which I want a new bookmark to be placed. The new Bookmark star just puts all new bookmarks into a holding pen. (Ugh!) The second is the disappearance of the Bookmark Library window that allowed me to easily do a bunch of edits and re-org many bookmarks easily.. Is there any to get to a similar window in the new version?
Chosen solution
To bookmark, do this.
For the current page, right click and select
Bookmark This Page.
For a link on the page, right click the link and select
Bookmark This Page.
You should then see a window labeled bookmark
The top input box is the name of the bookmark. The default is the
page / link name. But you can change it to whatever you want.
Under that is a box labeled Folder. That is where the bookmark will be
stored. BUT, if you want to put the bookmark in another folder, press
the down arrow to the far right.

hello Fred615, click the bookmark star a second time to edit the details/location of a bookmark. the library is still there, click on the "show all bookmarks" button or press ctrl+shift+b.
