I'm newly minted into FireFox, and I'd like to set up the browser interface similar to what I had in IE. Is it possible to set the bookmarks listing permanently 'on' and 'pinned' to a location?

{Ctrl + B} will open the Bookmarks sidebar, which will remain open until you close it.
