Chosen solution

Note that you can open only the pages that you want as the home page in tabs and click the Use "Current Pages" button to set all currently open tabs as multiple home pages.

You can also add a specific URL to the target field in the command line of the Firefox desktop shortcut.

Here's what to do:

  1. Click the orange Firefox button and then 'Options' > 'Options' (or 'Tools' > 'Options' if you don't have the Firefox button)
  2. Click the 'General' heading/tab
  3. Ensure 'Show my home page' is selected next to 'When Firefox starts:'
  4. Copy the addresses of the pages you want to open on startup into the box next to 'Home page:', separating each address with a | and no spaces (for example: https://support.mozilla.org/|http://mail.google.com/ )

Many thanks for your help. Jim
