When I have a lot of tabs open, and I close a tab, I would like it to go directly to the tab on the RIGHT - in "reading order" as you might say; instead it always reverts to the one on the left (which is usually the one where I snaplinked all the ones I opened that I wanted to look at in that order... )

I can't seem to set it to do this (though I THOUGHT it used to.) Any ideas ?

Chosen solution

  1. Install either Tab Utilities Lite or Tab Utilities (not both).
  2. Opens the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A), then the Extensions category.
  3. Click the Options button next to the Tab Utilities (Lite) entry.
  4. Click the Tab Closing tab.
  5. Under the "Focus a tab…" section, uncheck the first and third options. Set the second option to "Right tab".
