Hi. Google access is denied when I use Firefox. I have tried to reset to cause Firefox to be recognized as default browser, but to no avail.

when I try to go to google.com or use the google search in the toolbar, I get "unable to connect. I have gone through all of the firefox troubleshooting recommendations and still no access to google.

Is there any pattern of problems with secure (HTTPS) addresses vs. regular (HTTP) addresses?

For example, if you open a new private window (Ctrl+Shift+p) can you load this address: http://www.google.com/intl/en/about/
