composing a new email and when I tab down to body of email I want my text to be placed above the signature

looking for info on composing a new email and when I tab down to body of email I want my text to be placed above the signature. It gives info on replying to an email but not for composing a new email. When i write an email I put in address, tab down to subject line and then tab to body of email. When i start typing the text winds up below the signature. I want it to be above the signature
