This just started ... the email addresses I put in the "reply to" and "to" spaces on an outgoing email are red now. How can I change this back to black? I didn't make any changes to my system or to my email accounts.

The problem was resolved by shutting down my computer and restarting it. Must have been something corrupt that got fixed by itself.

I know how to set the "reply to" for my accounts. What I cannot find is the config editor in the advanced settings in tools>options. I'm using Thunderbird 24.3.0. Can you provide a screen shot of what I'm looking for?

I found the config editor but I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for or how it should be changed. My address book is there. It stays "status: default" "type: string". I would show you a screen shot but I can't grab the screen in the config editor

Are you putting more than one address into each affected address box?
