If I copy and paste a website address into an email, it does not appear as "blue" so that it can be clicked on an opened, why?

On other browsers if a web address is copied and pasted into an email it appears as blue, and when received one has only to click on that address and it opens. With FIREFOX it does not appear as blue, cannot be clicked to open, but must again be copied and pasted into the address box to gain access. Why is this the case?

Different text editors support different levels of automation in different browsers. A lot of editors do not automatically "linkify" addresses when pasted in Firefox. I don't know why not; that's just how they do.

Is there a particular one you wish would work more conveniently? Maybe a volunteer can take a hard look at it.

I should mention that editors which do not automatically "linkify" a URL usually do have a button on their toolbar to insert a link. Instead of pasting the link directly into the message, you can click in the text where you want the link, click the link button, paste in a little dialog, and then insert that.

(I have attached some old screen shots as examples of what I mean)
