Every time I try to open a new tab it opens a new window instead. As an example lets say I have my e-mail up on the starting tab but want to look at youtube vids on another tab. Normally I can just right click open as new tab no problem it will stay on the same window. Now when I try to do that it opens up a new window instead. Even if I click the + next to the tab that normally opens another tab. This started after I downloaded the newest update last night (may have came out a day or two ago I have a bad habit of putting it off for a day or two). I have not changed any settings before or after the update. I can drag the new window back to the starting window as a tab but any tab I try to make from that will also lead to a new window opening instead.

Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.

  1. Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0
  2. Shockwave Flash 11.7 r700
  3. Shockwave Flash 11.6 r602

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove all (older) version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and (re)install the latest Flash player.
