Just recently, My screen is black & the words are white or a color, only when i open firefox? How do I get the screen back to white?

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).

Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

Note that these settings affect background images.

I greatly appreciate your help... but, how do I uncheck a high contrast background, since it appears that may be one of the issues? ... also the background in firefox is still black? i unchecked 'hardware acceleration' Thanks,
