Two-fingered scrolling does not work on my Mac in Firefox, but does work in Safari. I am thinking of switching to Safari as my main browser. Can this be fixed?

I have reloaded Firefox as suggested. I have clicked "Always" in by System Preferences scrolling. But none of these work. If Firefox does not fix the scrolling problem for the Mac OS X, I am forced to use Safari as my main browser, because the scrolling works there. I've used Firefox for almost 10 years, but this problem is very frustrating.

It seems like turning 'Smooth Scrolling' off works.

This may also be a problem specific to Firefox 26 + Mavericks.
