Did you look for a bookmarkbackups folder in the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop?

Use Toolbar Layout (Customize) to open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.

check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
if "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette into the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
  • if missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
  • if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar setup
  • You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

Is everything gone, all customizations, back to default?

In case Firefox performed a reset during your upgrade, can you check your desktop for a folder named Old Firefox Data. If you find one, we can go over how to recover settings from it.

A couple of users recently reported that their bookmarks became invisible. If they type into the address bar enough to match a bookmark, it can be opened and the star in the address bar turns yellow. However, the bookmarks menu, sidebar, and Library dialog are blank. Do you have that issue?
