When will you have a fix so Norton Identity Safe will work?

kirtbell

Firefox upgraded today and now Norton Identity Safe (Norton toolbar) no longer works. I have spent several hours moving bookmarks to I.E., because Norton works there. I prefer Firefox, oh well, "Que sera, sera".

hello kirtbell, according to norton the toolbar is already compatible with firefox versions including the current release version. please run the norton liveupdate utility repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. in addition make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension afterwards.

for more information please refer to http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-26-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/1062179

It has been said to try and do LiveUpdate in Norton first to update their extension before updating Firefox to have better success as it can take several update tries with Norton sometimes.

Norton has had updates to the toolbar on same day or within a day of every Firefox release since Firefox 5.0. About the only positive to using Norton though this extension is not really needed.

Norton will support FF 27. http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-27-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/1089865 I have been frustrated that on Feb. 5,2014, Norton deleted their toolbar.

I also have to upgrade to FF 27 to have it on the page. But I am not fond of the awesome bar. I prefer my toolbar and Menu Bar.

FF 27 looks too much like Google Chrome with the Omnibox.
