I'm using Firefox 25.0 on my Dell desktop with a fully updated Windows XP OS. My old password would not work so I requested a new one. I waited over an hour and did not receive any new password. How long should a user wait before re-doing a new password request?

Firefox doesn't require to enter a password to start.

Make sure that you downloaded and installed Firefox from the Mozilla server.
