Getting black dots on the screen when on some websites, slow stuttering at times when viewing pictures etc.
Hello I'm having some wierd issues with my Mozilla firefox of late, getting black dots on the screen when on websites, as an exampel "http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=635503" when I click the picture of the screen and sit there clicking back and forth I get black dots after like 10 click max.

Happens alot and is very enoying overall, I've used firefox for years and love it but right now I'm forced to use Chrome to get stuff to work. Mostly it is this crap with the black dots. Another thing was that my Battlelog didnt show my friends online trough firefox but that solved I think with the reinstall (done a reinstall and formated the computer but problem with the dots is still there).
I've installed Java again and tried most stuff like disable the Hardware Accelerator but I still get the issue, I thought it was my new graphics card but I didnt have these issues the first day (ASUS R9 280X). I think it was the day after or 2 days after I upgraded to 8.1 pro (reinstalled since then as said to get it clean), and I've been having these dots.
I almost sent my graphics card back to the seller but as it feels right now its something with Mozilla Firefox since it only happen there (not in IE or Chrome) and never in-game of any game so far. Help!

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

If this is happening after installing a new graphics display card then there might be a problem with this display card or with the drivers.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

I did turn off the Hardware Acceleration yesterday without results, tho I did try again today since you do suggest it + that I used this "https://support.mozilla.org/sv/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration#w_i-still-have-problems-with-my-graphics-card-in-firefox".
And now it seems to work, turned it off, clicked the picture back and forth 30 times and no black dots, put it on and got black dots after 8-10 click. Turned it off again and 30-40 clicks without any dots.
Could it be my graphics card being broken or do you think its just driver related? I have AMD 13.11 beta but last night I tried the 13.9 version (none beta) which didnt do any difference.
Thanks in advance!
Black dots can be an indication that the graphics display card is overheating or is overclocked.
If you enable hardware acceleration then the GPU is used more intensively and that might increase the temperature.
I don't know if you can read out the temperature or if you made any adjustments to the default settings.
Hey again, no I havent changed the GPU settings from defult, and the temperature is between 28-32 in idle and maximum 69 when I play BF3 and the card is going at 99%.
The wierd thing is that it feels like I should be having the issues with the games as well which I havent, only had that the screen went black mid game for 3 sec twice, went out reinstalled drivers and nothing since. But the dots were still there at the time until I today changed the things in above post.
Trying to give as much info as I can and want to try get to the bottom of it so I know if it is software problem or my new card :).
Thanks in advance!
