After yet another unneeded layout update by Google, my Youtube player now has half cut off ( http://puu.sh/4LHkl.jpg ). This is extremely annoying, as not only can i only see half the video, i cannot adjust player size or quality. Any fixes, or do i have to wait for Google to fix it?

And google have reverted back to the old layout, fixing my problem! I hope they leave it that way.

I have seen that you have two shockwave plugin installed on your fireox. Try to unistall the older version, maybe there is a conflict.

Uninstalled and reinstalled flash, and it removed the extra version, but my player is still cut in half.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

Thank you.

Still the same issue. I'm guessing it's a problem that Google have caused themselves. Thanks for the help, but i think the only thing i can do is wait until they fix it themselves.
