My pinned 'app' tabs disappear when I close firefox, since I started syncing with another computer. Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Got a new Windows 8 non-RT tablet. Put regular firefox desktop on it. not metro. synced it with my laptop firefox whic runs windows 7. Since then my pinned app tabs don't stay after I close firefox and restart.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":

  • do not clear the Browsing History

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
