When I open Firefox I am taken to a page other than the one I have set up as my home page..this is what is in the address field and I can't get rid of it. I have tried everything that I know of: http://start.findwide.com/v/2/?guid={B2FDA3FD-C887-4E06-9440-4D342DF6321D}&serpv=6

You should scan with anti-malware programs. FindWide might have installed browser freezer that saves browser settings between sessions or browser plugins. Adwcleaner or Spyhunter should detect it.
I reset Firefox and so far it's good. Thanks for everyone's help.
