Why is FFx21, upon opening, creating three duplicate INTERNET CACHE files (01, 02, & 03 tot'ng 12mb) thus slowing the site?

Upon 'OPENING' Firefox to the web, there is an initial usage of 12+ mb of usage via INTERNET CACHE files. These files show up, when using CCleaner, as ......\_CACHE_001, 002, and 003 each with identical size of say 4,096 kb. The brower seems to 'lag' - especially noticeable when I type into either of the available search bars........I type and then wait for the letter or word to show. Also, Firefox has crashed several times since upgrading to the latest release (ffox 21). I have two printscreen images of CCleaner to show the files if helpful, but unsure of how to enter them here.

hello, these are the files where firefox stores its cache - you won't need ccleaner (in fact it will only slow things down as you've already noticed, since those files have to be recreated after the next start of the browser), you can also clear the cache with the built-in mechanism in firefox: How to clear the Firefox cache
