Google cache is gone
Hello everybod,
google cache doesn't work via firefox any more. At least not for me. I HAVE emptied firefox cache, have restarted my computer, and it still doesn't work. It doesn't work via email explorer either. I'm asking here because google, as we all know, has no customer service, so I don't know who else to turn to. Got any info or advice? Please???

Could you explain what you mean by it doesn't work? Some general comments:
- When you search Google using a secure connection (HTTPS) then your query terms are not highlighted in the cached page. For workarounds, see this thread: I cannot get google cache search to function in Firefox
- Today, for some reason, the "preview" image that used to appear when you moused over a result is gone for me. For most results, there is a triangle after the green URL that, when you click it, displays a menu with Cached or Similar or both. (I just realized my userscript doesn't see this new link. Have to fix that...) Mysteriously Bing-like!

thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, it’s the latter. The preview image is gone and I wasn’t aware there’s this triangle, let alone what it does. Is it new or was I just blind as a mole for the past couple years? And just out of curiosity, do you know if the preview comes back? Can’t find any info on that change/problem on the net.
Anyways, thanks a ton for the triangle tip. Definitely better than nothing.
