hello dave, what is happening exactly when you try to uninstall firefox - are there any error messages. there are also quite a few adware related entries in your firefox profile, which may be part of the issue. you could try running a full scan of your system with your security software already in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] and [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner]. Do you mean to uninstall Firefox, or an extension on Firefox?

Windows will not uninstall Mozilla Firefox from installed programs. Why not?
