Why does Internet Download Manager not work on Firefox?

I have Internet Download Manager 6.15 and use is exclusively to download pretty much everything. However, I cannot use it while using Firefox, why?

yes....i think it is because u don't installed it correctly, i think it maybe because you don't restart your computer after you installed it, how about you try to restart your computer and try to download anything using mozilla. i hope this will help you.

yes....i think it is because u don't installed it correctly, i think it maybe because you don't restart your computer after you installed it, how about you try to restart your computer and try to download anything using mozilla. i hope this will help you.
