I used smartswipe card reader for years on IE with no trouble, Then I started getting popups on screen when using card reader to update browser DESPITE the fact that I had IE9(latest) already loaded. I sent smartswipe website an email asking why their website could not detect this, and was told by them to either reload IE9 or load Mozilla. Reloading IE9 was no good-I kept getting error message. I used Mozilla for awhile until my HD failed and was replaced. Now your website says smartswipe disabled and wont work with Mozilla 20.1 Can I use an earlier version of Mozilla or no? Please help me on this issue. Thank you.

Hey,

the latest executable is for Firefox 19, and can be downloaded from here: http://smartswipe.ca/downloads/

I'm uncertain whether it's also possible to run this on Firefox 20, but you can try it. If it doesn't work, then you can downgrade [1] or wait until Smartswipe releases an updated version of the application.

[1] Install an older version of Firefox

Thank you for your assistance. I talked to smartswipe who said they would be updated to Mozilla 20.1 in two weeks approx. Thank you!
