under "add ons" there was a message stating a certain add on (uk was part of it) wasn't added as it appeared corrupt--I didn't request it myself--??t
I wonder if someone had or has access to my computer & requested a corrupt add on to be installed..

Hi krisket,
you can inspect files located in your profile folder (subfolder: extensions) and find when they were created. In case of an addon that was not installed by yourself, it could be installed at a time you were not on pc.
Details on how to find the profile folder can be found in these articles:
- Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data
- Firefox Profile folder
Be careful though, that in many cases you may see date or time that the file was last modified.
Hope that helped you! Please report back!

I'm not too computer savvy & don't really know what you mean--I'm just concerned someone has access to my computer. Is that possible? I did a scan & no threats were found. Maybe it's just a fluke..the message about the corrupt plug-in is gone...
