For me Firefox with either Vista or W7 fails to correctly display the Met Office's weather widget, whereas with XP & IE8, W7/Vista and IE9 and W7/Vista and Chrome it is all OK.

Widget (from www.metoffice.gov.uk) is built into www.wvyfc.org site (for which I am the web site author/designer. It was working OK until a couple of weeks ago when the Met Office updated the style and presentation.

All software W7, Vista, Firefox, Java etc.. is COMPLETELY up to date.

From what I recall the standalone met office widget was deprecated some years ago. Perhaps you can give a link to the met office site page regarding the current version you have found and are using.
