No, there is no quicker way. That's a pretty quick way though, and its the standard convention for all windows programs.

Here is an extension which adds a Restart button.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/restart-button/

Plus there are many extensions which include a Restart button as a secondary feature.

Note that the "Firefox/Tools > Web Developer > Developer Toolbar" (Shift+F2) has a restart command amongst others (type an r and then press the F1 key to pop-up a help window).
