Today i tried to forward an email from eBay to someone else. What they got was gibberish. This only started with the latest version of Firefox. I have tried to cut and paste an example, but for some reason this dialog box will not allow it. I can use what is in the box below to show you an example of what happens. I like Firefox, have given you money, but this is not going to work.

Uhm, this is a screenshot of Microsoft Outlook, not Firefox.

The gibberish you're seeing is most likely (the screenshot got resized and is hard to read) the html coding of the email. Try going through the view options, especially something along the lines of "Display HTML".

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

You can't attach a screenshot to the first post that starts a thread, but you can do that in subsequent replies.

You can check the character encoding in case that got changed.

  • Firefox menu button > Web Developer > Character Encoding
  • View > Character Encoding

I did a suggested and attached is an example of what i was talking about. Now it seems this is even weirder. I did sent one of these to another computer in our house and even though i see garbage, on the other end it was ok. What is going on???.
