Getting BSOD System_Service_Exception using Firefox started just a week ago. Fine with IE.

Using HP series 2000 laptop just purchased in November 2012. AMD processor Windows 8. I go online using Firefox for about 15 minutes and I get the BSOD System_Service_Exception and machine restarts. I use IE and it works fine. Been using Firefox on this laptop since the beginning, just started malfunctioning in the last week or so. Seems like one of the Firefox update is not agreeing with Windows 8. I can't provide troubleshooting information because Firefox will not stay open long enough.

Thank you for the concise and direct solution. Microsoft gave me the runaround and HP support webpage was impossible to navigate through.
