what will make my firefox stop running? unstalling and re-downloading repeatedly has no effect

Hi! It could be that Firefox is still running as a process even though it has closed.

Try,

1. Right-click on the Windows task bar

2. Select Start Task Manager

3. Click on Processes tab, and select firefox.exe*32

4. Click on End Process button.
