Why Can't I use Facebook in Firefox 12? :-(
I can sign in & navigate but it won't let me make comments, like something, access messages or click on any links. It either takes me to a blank page or a page that says "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can."
I have no problems using Facebook in IE8 (except for all the ads). I really don't want to use IE8.
My OS is XP svc pack 3
I tried disabling add-ons & extensions (even adblock plus) & that didn't help.
Cleared cache/cookies, etc. using ccleaner.
Tried version 11. Same problem.
If I could, I'd go back to 3.6.8 cuz it never had any problems. Not crazy about updating to 14 for many reasons, not the least of which is that I will lose the one & only add-on I have. And undoing it in 12 didn't help.
I'm not very techie, so would appreciate any & all help in layman's terms. :-)
Thank you!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! After checking the first link, I added facebook.com to my exceptions & clicked allow for session and everything works! I have no idea what caused it to stop working, but I am so glad it is now. Again, thank you so much for your help!
FYI, the add-on is a theme that I have used for years and I just didn't want to give it up. :-)

What is the add-on that's keeping you from installing Firefox 14?
A problem was noticed last week with certain ways of managing Facebook cookies. You can check these threads and see whether that issue is relevant to you:

It sounds that Facebook is creating normal cookies for the wwww.facebook.com domain instead of a domain cookie for the more global facebook.com domain.
A cookie from wwww.facebook.com can only be accessed from that domain and not from other domains.
