Forgotten how to save favourite sites on new tabs - help!

I've just upgraded my PC, and have forgotten how I saved my favourite sites onto new tabs (I'm not talking about the ability to 'pin' a frequently used website). I had 3 rows of 4, or 4 rows of 5, fixed squares which appeared whenever I clicked on the + for a new tab. I could save to this by left-clicking on a favourite site, then choosing the 'add to hot sites' (or something similar) option. I'd like to get this back - if possible. The old PC ran Windows XP, the new one is running Windows7, I don't know if that will make a difference.

I've just found it! Called FoxTab, should have remembered that!

Have a look at

I think that is what you are looking for. There is also an option to list tabs/bookmarks in folders and to use a bookmarks sidebar or the bookmarks toolbar.

Sorry John99, that's not it.

Currently when I open a new tab, the page is completely blank. The add-on (?) I'm looking for allows me to save websites onto that page, so they are always displayed when I open a new tab.

There area few add-ons for tab management and they seem to come and go. I suppose it is this one you lost then

Yes, that's the one. But after all that, it's not compatible with Windows 7 :(
