My Poker account on Facebook was hacked the other day and I need to Enable Facebook Login Approvals but I constantly receive the same error message that my current settings might make it hard to use Login Approvals. I have fixed all the settings as required by the help page on all my browsers (Firefox; Chrome; IE) yet still get the same error message. Now Zynga will not continue with the investigation of the loss of my 74M chips unless I can follow every step they sent me & this is one of the last steps. After I enable Facebook Login Approvals, I have to log out of Facebook, log back in & perform a virus scan.

Hi,

Does Zynga offer malware repair services?? You should first verify that before using that help service. Ideally you would make sure that you are indeed in contact or communication with the person/entity you believe it to be.

As for the problem, you can do a Reset Firefox via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information, which would guarantee fail-safe default Firefox settings that would work for login approvals. If the problem persists, then you may have to first consider doing a thorough malware scan of the system, preferably using a live USB/CD kit. These dedicated forums would be helpful:

A better option in some cases would be to format the system, install XP afresh, install an antivirus product, download and install XP Service Pack 3, turn on automatic updates, update XP and then use the PC again. It would also be a good idea to change the passwords for all the sites ever browsed on the PC. The dedicated security forums would be helpful in this regard too.

I did a Reset Firefox and this did not help my problem ~~ I have done everything including uninstalling Google Chrome before resetting Firefox and that didn't help ~~ I'm waiting on a friend now to help me with this ... I'm absolutely frustrated now, but thank you for your help.

System formatted , win 7 reinstalled and still can't make it work in none of these: Firefox, Opera, IE, Safari. I don't know if my facebook has been hacked by a virus but I definetely will AVOID McAFEE after this.
