Untrusted Connection - Cannot add exception/No option for "I Understand the Risks"
Constantly when I try to access sites like Twitter or Facebook, I receive the following Untrusted Connection message:
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to twitter.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely,
sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do? If you usually connect to
this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.
twitter.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for the following names:
si0.twimg.com , cdn.api.twitter.com , jp.twimg.com , o.twimg.com , p.twimg.com , p.twitter.com , pbs.twimg.com , platform.twitter.com , preview.cdn.twitter.com , si1.twimg.com , si2.twimg.com , si3.twimg.com , si4.twimg.com , si5.twimg.com
(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)
I am using Firefox 13 on Mac OS X. This is extremely frustrating since there is seemingly no way around this error screen and there are no instructions as to what to do in the help page. Any assistance would be very appreciated

This error can be caused by content that is displayed in an iframe.
You can't add an exception in this case.
To be able to do that you would have to open that iframe in a new tab.
Try to disable forcing a secure connection in Facebook.
Are you using an extension that can force a secure connection?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
