As we do not yet know exactly what happened I am forced to give a rather general answer. You presumably have either malware, or some unwanted software installed. This may be directly in Firefox and showing up as for instance a toolbar extension or similar; or something at Operating System level, which may or may not show up as a plugin in Firefox, and could also affect other browsers.
