Firefox's tool bar is gone . Google took over as a browser. Iwant FF back
On June 17, 2012 when I try to go to the Norton website from a link provided by Norton AutoFix to see report, Fire Fox displayed a message that said that it could not access webpage. I restarted the computer 4 times, it did not help. I waited 5 hours and still could not connect to firefox. I was forced to launch Internet Explorer to do my work. when I tried to switch back to firefox, Google took over.

As we do not yet know exactly what happened I am forced to give a rather general answer.
You presumably have either malware, or some unwanted software installed. This may be directly in Firefox and showing up as for instance a toolbar extension or similar; or something at Operating System level, which may or may not show up as a plugin in Firefox, and could also affect other browsers.
Note Firefox now has an easy reset feature, although it and may not solve all problems, especially if the problem is at Operating System level, (and future implementations may cause some permanent information loss. )
