Brand new problem: When I open firefox on my MacBook Pro, the menu bar is missing and there is no way to minimise the window. I can't use suggested fixes because there's no firefox menu to work from and no fullscreen icon. I tried the F11 key to no avail. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

You can check that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (Mac: command+Shift+F).

You can also try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Go to "~/Library/Preferences" and remove the plist file for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist)
