I have lots of redundant bookmarks. how do i go about filtering them to delete the redundancies?
I've imported bookmarks/favorites/etc., from several different places and now I've got hundreds of redundancies. Is there a way to run a filtering program of the URLs to weed out the redundancies?

Not that I am aware of. You may be able to find an add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ that helps, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

You can use the following Add-on to check for duplicates:
- CheckPlaces --> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/checkplaces/
- After install and restarting Firefox there is a toolbar icon (star with checkmark as shown on the Add-on page) that you may need to drag to the toolbar, if it does not automatically show on the toolbar, from the Customize window while the Customize window is open: Firefox button > Options > Toolbar Layout (or View > Toolbars > Customize). See --> https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars#w_how-do-i-customize-or-rearrange-toolbar-items
- Clicking the toolbar icon opens a dialog. On the "Check Options" tab, check only "Check for duplicates", then click "Check" in the lower left. Review the results carefully before you delete items.
