FF now only puts a small box--in a corner of my screen--I cannot adjust the size.

Running XP. Suddenly FF only opens in a tiny box, or only goes to Full Screen. No ability to drag the dimensions horiz or vert or diag. No problem with IE.

Thanks for the message. It seems complicated to restore the localstore.rdf file.

I think I could simply uninstal Firefox, and then d/l and reinstall.

Wouldn't this be simpler? and cleaner?

Any warnings about the consequences? (Have to save my favorites list first.)

You can simply try to rename the localstore.rdf file to localstore.rdf.sav while Firefox is closed to see if that helps.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
