When ever I start typing the "Press ESC to leave full-screen mode" message appears even though I am not in full-screen mode.

When ever I start typing the "Press ESC to leave full-screen mode" message appears at the top of the screen. This happens on all website I have visited and when typing into the awesome bar. This message only disappears once I have finished typing. How can I prevent this message from coming up.

Try Firefox in safe mode to check if it is an extension.
