My cookies will not delete. Example: a.lakequincy.com Firefox 8 MAC OSX
I delete them, they show back up. I delete all of my cookies, they go away and then show right back up. I even uninstalled flash, also went to flash website. Nothing working. Lots of "ad" cookies. Thanks

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thank you for trying to help. I never could find any files marked cookies.sqlite. I finally found my folder (I think) and deleted a lot, but none of the cookies will stay deleted.
I went to the website, but couldn't get that either. Next I will try the Safe Mode. ( :
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
I think it is fixed. On restart, it shows no cookies. I will now use Cookie Whitelist to agg cookies as desired, THANK YOU.
You're welcome
